Eyelash Extension After Care
The majority of clients come back after 3 weeks. However, depending on habit that may take 2 or 4 weeks.
1. Do not get lash wet within 48 hrs
2. Use a tissue to gently dab the extension right away if they get wet
3. When shower, do not let the water from the shower hose directly hit the extension.
4. Avoid getting too closed to any source of steam- sauna, too hot of a shower, steamy cooking
5. Sunlight can make glue crunchy so be best to wear hat or sun glasses under the sun
6. Avoid anything oily on lashes
7. Lashes do not need to be washed everyday. Every other day is just fine
8. Do not pick on your lash or rub your eyes too much.
Lash Lift AfterCare
1. Avoid water at least 6 hrs
2. Use eyelash serum/ castor oil to help keep the lash moisturize
3. Use gentle mascara on the lash, avoid rubbing them horizontally to remove mascara because that will create friction. Remove mascara in upward direction. 4. Wait 2-3 months before get them done again
Permanent Makeup After Care
1. Keep the tattooed area clean, wash them with gentle soap
2. Wipe the area clean often
3. Eyeliners/ Lip Blush – Apply ointment 2-3 times per day
Myth about Lash Extension
1. Lash extension is painful and burning Never at my salon this happens.
This tells me the lash tech you experience does not make sure there is proper distance between the extension and eyelid, causing discomfort
If Lash tech uses high quality glue and eye pad, this situation could easily be avoided.
2. Lash extension cause lash to fall
This tells me that the lash tech did not properly isolate the extension, causing discomfort and clients start to pick on their lash.
3. Mascara is better for your lash
I have had client that have more lashes grow than using mascara
