B. Ointment for Healing Process:
Right after treatment: Avoid water and ointment for 24 hrs. Dab gently with moist cotton pads or Q-tip when needed
After 24 hrs: Dab gently with moist cotton pads or Q-tip. Then apply ointment
Makeup: Please don’t apply makeup until treated areas are fully healed
1. For Eyebrows: Keep moist 3 times per day for the first 7 days with ointment. Between applying ointment, keep dry for 7 days. The eyebrows color changes differently each day.
Melanin will increase in the treated area making the eyebrows appear darker for a couple of days, this is a normal human body response. Then the darkness will start to flake off, let it flake off naturally and do not force the flakiness off.
2. For Eyeliner: Keep moist 3 times per day for the first 5 days with ointment.
Melanin will increase in the treated area making the eyeliners appear darker for a couple of days, this is a normal human body response. Then the darkness will start to flake off, let it flake off naturally and do not force the flakiness off.
3. Lips: Keep moist 3 times per day. At some point after the procedure, the lips will appear darker than when they are fully healed. This is due to oxidation of the pigment. In order for the lips to fully heal and stabilize, it takes two months.
C. What to Expect during the Healing Process:
The area of procedure will begin to feel dry and chapped. The color will change each day and will take 1-2 months to stabilize so don’t freak out, colors will turn out awesome! Even when Ruby got her first permanent makeup, she was nervous about the changes in color.
Unlike others, Ruby’s technique will retain 80-90% of color instead of 50-60%
