Clients who will not be suitable for permanent makeup

  1. Under 18 years old
  2. Pregnant
  3. Has cancer and undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
  4. Currently on steroid and prednisone
  5. Has open wounds in the areas to be worked on
  6. Has skin that is extremely thin or extremely wrinkle
  7. Currently has bacterial or viral infection
  8. Has condition where blood doesn’t properly clot
  9. Sunburn in the area of permanent makeup

Please check with your doctor before booking appointment for permanent makeup

  1. Has high blood pressure
  2. Has diabetes
  3. In remission from cancer for 1 year
  4. Uses blood thinning medicine
  5. Has eczema or seborrheic dermatitis

Facial procedures to avoid 4 weeks before PMU procedure

  1. No botox or chemical peels of any kind
  2. No laser facial treatment of any kind

Drugs/medicine to avoid before procedures:

  1. Any blood thinner
  2. Medicine including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Aspirin, Excedrin , Warfarin, Coumadin, Oil supplements such as Fish Oil, Vitamin E oil, Primrose oil
  3. Antibiotics
  4. Retinol
  5. Retin-A
  6. Any strong skincare products
  7. Any mood-altering drugs
  8. Iron Supplements and Magnesium

Pre-Procedure Instructions

  1. Please eat something 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment to keep your blood sugar in good level
  2. Avoid any form of caffeine 2-3 hrs prior to your appointment because it can make your skin hypersensitive. Avoid juices that have high levels of vitamin C because it can make blood more dilute.
  3. No working out or alcohol within 24 hours before the procedure
  4. Let the artist know if you are on period.
