Clients who will not be suitable for permanent makeup
- Under 18 years old
- Pregnant
- Has cancer and undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
- Currently on steroid and prednisone
- Has open wounds in the areas to be worked on
- Has skin that is extremely thin or extremely wrinkle
- Currently has bacterial or viral infection
- Has condition where blood doesn’t properly clot
- Sunburn in the area of permanent makeup

- Has high blood pressure
- Has diabetes
- In remission from cancer for 1 year
- Uses blood thinning medicine
- Has eczema or seborrheic dermatitis
Facial procedures to avoid 4 weeks before PMU procedure
- No botox or chemical peels of any kind
- No laser facial treatment of any kind
Drugs/medicine to avoid before procedures:
- Any blood thinner
- Medicine including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Aspirin, Excedrin , Warfarin, Coumadin, Oil supplements such as Fish Oil, Vitamin E oil, Primrose oil
- Antibiotics
- Retinol
- Retin-A
- Any strong skincare products
- Any mood-altering drugs
- Iron Supplements and Magnesium
Pre-Procedure Instructions
- Please eat something 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment to keep your blood sugar in good level
- Avoid any form of caffeine 2-3 hrs prior to your appointment because it can make your skin hypersensitive. Avoid juices that have high levels of vitamin C because it can make blood more dilute.
- No working out or alcohol within 24 hours before the procedure
- Let the artist know if you are on period.
